Criminals Casslyn Welch and John McCluskey busted

It was only a matter of time before Casslyn Welch and John McCluskey were found. For some reason, there are repeated comparisons to Bonnie and Clyde. They escaped from an Arizona State prison about a month ago. They’ve been on the run ever since. They were rumored to be in numerous locations. They were reportedly spotted in Yellowstone National Part, Arkansas, and elsewhere. They were unknowingly spotted in a state park in Arizona. A Park Ranger alerted authorities to a stolen vehicle, which led to their capture.

Ranger braves the danger

An unnamed Park Ranger made the catch. He was on patrol in Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. According to ABC, he saw an unattended fire and a suspiciously parked car. He called within the license plate. He alerted police when it turned up stolen. Soon afterward, SWAT showed up to take them into custody. That’s when they found out who they were. They were arrested peacefully. John McCluskey said that he would have fired on police had he not been caught off guard. McCluskey and his cousin, Casslyn Welch, who is also his fiancĂ©, were taken peacefully.

The search is off

John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch didn’t break out alone. Inmates Daniel Renwick and Tracy Province went with them. Province and Renwick were captured soon after, and McCluskey and Welch were spotted in Yellowstone National Park and in Butte, Mon. McCluskey and Welch were spotted in Yellowstone National Park and Butte, Mont., while Renwick and Province were captured not long after their escape. The two just lately captured criminals weren’t idle after escaping. As outlined by the Associated Press, they are suspected in the death of Linda and Gary Haas, a retired couple in New Mexico on vacation. The bodies of the Haases were found in their burnt trailer around Aug. 4. The stolen vehicle Welch and McCluskey were driving had New Mexico plates.

Even Bonnie and Clyde weren’t like Bonnie and Clyde

For some reason, people idolize violent criminals. These two are compared to Bonnie and Clyde. The actual Bonnie and Clyde weren’t romantic at all. Clyde was supposedly gay, and they robbed banks before the FDIC existed, so the exact same people they were stealing from were the ones rooting for them. They are violent criminals, and it is better they go back to behind bars. There should be a medal for the Ranger who called them in. He should at least get a raise.
