Minnesota has Brett Favre back
Brett Favre has showed up to practice ending months of intense speculation and debate. On Tuesday, Aug. 17, Brett Favre stepped off a plane, as outlined by ESPN, and went to practice with the Minnesota Vikings. Brett Favre didn’t need any stinking training camp last year. He and also the Vikings went on a Viking like campaign, which involved a merciless slaughter of a pitiful Dallas Cowboys team in the first round of playoffs. The season ended with a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Saints within the NFC Championship game, when Favre picked up the ankle injury.
Fellow Vikings help him to determine
Some of the other guys on the team may have spurred his decision. Some fellow Vikings went down to Hattiesburg, Miss., to Favre’s home to help him make his decision. Lineman Steve Hutchinson, kicker Ryan Longwell and defensive end Jared Allen (owner of perhaps one of the most famous mullet within the NFL) flew down to talk to Favre. They must have made quite the argument, because he flew back to Minnesota with them.
