Travel booked online will change with Hipmunk

Normally there is a dull list of flights on sites. Hipmunk changes this by making it more easy to read and colorful. Just this week there was a launch. Reviews are really great in just that short time. As outlined by TechCrunch, “When you see the results you’ll never want to see flight results in any format.” Lifehacker has similar praise for the “fantastic” visual interface, which is gratifying to Goldstein, as that his team spent a fantastic deal of time on that aspect of Hipmunk. Test isn’t really all clustered together. It is arranged by color and coded together. Searchers and effortlessly zoom in on a favorite within the grid at any time for additional information.

Trying to go with ‘a small, cute animal and a good logo’

Orbitz was the most popular online travel business that Goldstein and Huffman made their deal with for flight booking after checking numerous different sites. Orbits and Hipmunk work together to book flights. Hipmunk books it through Orbitz making both win. When going to Twitter, the bluebird is recognized as the logo. Hipmunk is about the same considering the chipmunk in flight goggles that will soon be recognizable. The choice of mascot came from Goldstein’s girlfriend, reports CNN.

“She said, ‘If you pick a small, cute animal and a good logo you’ll never go wrong,’” Goldstein says.

Getting ready for winter

Hipmunk has been evolving a bit. It is trying to improve each day with new ideas. Some of the things it’d like to improve would be stopping spam and expanding search functions. There’s going to be added functions. These will consist of hotels and auto rentals. Many wonder what Hipmunk’s plans are when it comes to adding content. It could be difficult to keep up the design with these changes. It is much less frustrating to search for a flight now though.
