Celestial Steed: Blizzard Store debuts new WoW horse

wow2-240x160The newest World of Warcraft pet, the Celestial Steed, has been released. The Celestial Steed will act as both a land or air mount – based on the mount skill of your WoW character. The Celestial Steed could possibly be used to increase your character’s speed by 310 percent. Downloading the Celestial Steed will cost you as much as no faxing pay day loans – $ 25.

Celestial Steed one of the Blizzard Store pets

The Celestial Steed is available for purchase today from the Blizzard Store Pet Store. Originally, the “flying mount with wings of pure elemental stardust”, the Celestial Steed was accessible in World of Warcraft, but the chances of finding it were very low. Rather than waiting for the .5% chance of getting the Celestial Steed, players can now purchase it. You’ve to have a battle.net account to activate the Celestial Steed. Each World of Warcraft license will require a separate Celestial Steed.

Is the Celestial Steed going to be making a donation?

The Celestial Steed is not the first pet accessible in the Blizzard Store. When the Pandaren Monk was released in 2009, the Blizzard Store donated 50 percent of all sales from the pet store to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Pandaren Monk pet made more than $ 1 million for the foundation. Thus far, there has been no talk from the Blizzard Store of donations from the Celestial Steed.

Reactions from players on the Celestial Steed

Though the Celestial Steed is proving popular within the Blizzard Store, not all players are happy. Some players are expressing disappointment on the World of Warcraft forums. Some players worry the Blizzard Store is draining players of money. Some worry World of Warcraft is starting to force them into taking out no faxing payday loans just to keep playing. Some players are happy that the Blizzard Store is offering “low probability” items for sale instead.
